DJ WaMu Bankruptcy Examiner Asks Court For Subpoena Power -AP Fri Aug 06 18:46:46 2010 EDT DOW JONES NEWSWIRES The court-appointed examiner in Washington Mutual Inc.'s (WAMUQ) bankruptcy case is seeking subpoena power, according to a legal filing Friday, the Associated Press reports. The examiner made the request in his proposed work plan submitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Dover, Del. A hearing on his plan is scheduled for Tuesday. The judge last week appointed Washington, D.C., lawyer Joshua Hochberg to investigate a proposed settlement involving WaMu, JPMorgan Chase EXAMINER'S WORK AND EXPENSES PLAN/REPORT AND MOTION FOR ADDITIONAL RELIEF: http://www.ghostofwamu.com/documents/08-12229/08-12229-5234.pdf
